My time at Arts Reverie would enable me to pursue interests in visual imagery, materials investigation and develop a series of works that stem from this.
Visual studies would entail collating imagery from photography, drawing, sketching and illustrations to develop ideas to translate into three-dimensions. Materials investigation would include sourcing fabrics such as saris, maybe precious/semi-precious or costume jewellery, as well as other textiles and new materials.
The series of works could then develop into an installation of work in a space or it could have commercial aims, which results in a collection of jewellery to market here, perhaps a collaborative project with gujarati craftspeople. However, I am quite open to see what happens as a result of my experiences and progress in developmental work.
