Liz is resident at the Sydney College of Art. On arrival, she was overwhelmed by the unfamiliar sounds of the local bird population and the rich range of floral, insect and landscape imagery. Also arriving at the same time (seemingly homeless) was a small kitten.

Liz's initial research involved recording a range of sounds on mindisc. She is considering using the plastic ornament (Right) - which plays bird noises triggered by a sensor when approached - as a starting point for some 'audio pieces'
