Ashi is resident at the Pyrmont Studios (above right) in Sydney. Her accommodation and work space is attached to the studios.

To begin with Ashi spent some time on 'walkabout' around the city. She was drawn to the many plant forms and their seed pods. The pods pictured right resemble 'slugs'
